Restaurant terms & conditions

When you book you are more than welcome to request the area in which you wish to sit, but we cannot guarantee these seating arrangements as tables are allocated on the day.


Our booking system automatically allocates a 2 hour slot for each table. If you are on a table which is booked out again later, we will make it clear when you arrive, at what time we need the table back.


We have gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options on our menu, but it is appreciated if you can give us advanced notice of dietary requirements. This is especially important where life-threatening allergies are concerned. With notice the chefs will offer a wider selection of dishes than can be seen on the menu.


Between mid-day and 4pm, we offer some smaller dishes for children. We do not have room for buggies or highchairs, but we do have sturdy booster seats for small children. 


We are too small to accept dogs inside the restaurant. They are welcome at the outside tables, but these are, of course, weather dependent.


Our largest table size is suitable for 6 people, and please note, that for tables of more that 4 people we will require a deposit of £10 per person to hold the table for you. When you book, we will arrange for a member of staff to ring you back to take the deposit. We need 5 days’ notice of the cancellation of a larger booking to give us the chance to re-book the table. Given this notice period, we will refund your deposit.
